| you mentioned about the PFC. But the truth is that not that many people will by the AEM at $1700 with all the sensors, and then spend $500 for dyno tuning. The AEM is very nice, but I do not think that it has a lot of market with teh 300zx. You really do not need an AEM for tuning a 350-400rwhp Z. So, I agree with Nixit that the AEM is not needed, but that is not because it lacks features, but because teh cost os way up. AEM in California are concerned with sales, not horsepower figures. Also, the widebandO2 sensors: how many Z owners have or will buy an FJO wideband to go along with the AEM? That is $700 more on top of the price of the AEM and tuning. I cannot think of more than 10 people that would buy the AEM if it is released. Also, you do not need to buy a laptop for the AEM, most dyno shops that tune teh systems, will use theirs. They will tune the car, save several maps for you, and that is it, you do not go and switch maps every day:-) Nixit, when is the PFC coming out?
